HIGH DENSITY FIBERBOARD (HDF)
High Density Fiberboard (HDF) is an engineered board produced from resin bonded wood fibers under high pressure and heat. HDF is a non-load-bearing product for interior use in dry conditions. HDF, due to its very fine surface, is suitable for different coatings – veneering, laminating, painting and varnishing. HDF is available in a variety of thicknesses, and a sanded surface to one or both sides.
CHARACTERISTICS
– Easy processing
– High stability
– Increased density
– Smooth surface
– Suitable for surfaces applications (melamine facing, foil, veneer, etc.)
– Unfinished
APPLICATIONS
– Interior design
– Furniture components
– Cupboard backs
– Doors, partitions

MEDIUM DENSITY FIBERBOARD (MDF)
MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is engineered board produced from resin bonded wood fibers under high pressure and heat. MDF is non-load-bearing product for interior use in dry conditions. Sanded to give a very fine surface, MDF is suitable for different coatings – veneering, laminating, painting and varnishing. MDF can be used as a building material for a substitute for timber in non-load-bearing walls, ceilings, partitions etc.
CHARACTERISTICS
– Good mechanical performance
– High stability
– Homogeneous characteristics
– Low swelling in thickness
– Perfect for painting laminating, veneering and foiling
APPLICATIONS
– Furniture components
– Partitions
– Cladding
– Framework for upholstered furniture
– Kitchen door design
– Packaging
